rafflecopter.app is an independent random comment picker for Instagram posts and reels, with a public SHA-256 proof page for every draw, free for posts up to 200 comments and one-time payment per draw above that (no subscription). It is not affiliated with the original Rafflecopter (rafflecopter.com), which closed on October 1, 2025.

Random, with a proof page

Random Comment Picker

Pick a comment from an Instagram post or reel at random — not the first, not the most liked, not one you chose. Every draw leaves a public proof page you can share.

Works with Instagram posts and reels. Free for posts with up to 200 comments.

1

Load

Paste the Instagram post or reel link. The public comments are loaded and each username is counted once.

2

Draw

A random seed is generated in your browser with the Web Crypto API and used to pick the winner.

3

Prove

The proof page shows the winner, the seed, the SHA-256 hash and the time of the draw.

Where the randomness comes from

The seed comes from crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator — the same source browsers use for encryption keys. It is not Math.random and it is not chosen by the host.

The seed and the list of entries go through SHA-256 to select the winner, and the result is published with the seed and hash on the proof page.

Random, and the same chance for everyone

Each username counts once, so writing more comments does not add chances. You can exclude accounts that are not eligible (your own, staff, previous winners) before the draw.

If you need more than one winner, they are picked in the same draw, in order, so you do not have to re-draw until a name you like comes up.

Limits

Only Instagram posts and reels are supported, and only public accounts. Posts with up to 200 comments are free; bigger posts need a one-time payment per draw.

For a list of names from anywhere else (a spreadsheet, a form, another network), use the random name picker and paste the list.
