How does the SHA-256 verification work?+
When we pick a winner we hash the full comment list + the random seed + the algorithm version with SHA-256 and publish the hash on a public proof page (rafflecopter.app/proof/[code]). Anyone — including skeptical participants — can download the comment list, re-run the same algorithm with the same seed, and confirm the winner matches. No other Instagram picker does this.
Does it work with Instagram reels and carousels?+
Yes. Rafflecopter supports Instagram feed posts, reels, and carousels. Paste the link to any public post and we fetch the comments. Stories are not supported because they expire.
Can it filter duplicate comments and bot accounts?+
Yes. By default we deduplicate by username so a person commenting 50 times has the same chance as someone commenting once.
